The Sisters Behind the Brand
We’re Anannya and Janvi—real-life sisters and co-founders of Viana Closet. From the time we were young, we were inseparable when it came to anything fashion-related. We’d sketch outfits in our school books, talk about trends for hours, and dream about creating a label that reflected our unique style. But we didn’t want to rush it. We made a promise to each other—to take our time, build something meaningful, and do it the right way.
The Power of Patience and Purpose
While many chase quick wins and instant results, we chose a different path—one rooted in patience and purpose. We both worked full-time jobs, saved every extra rupee, and sacrificed a lot along the way. We skipped dinners out, held off on vacations, and resisted impulse shopping—always keeping our bigger dream in mind. It wasn’t easy. But every choice we made brought us closer to what we wanted: a fashion brand built on authenticity, love, and resilience.
A Humble Beginning
After years of saving and careful planning, we finally launched our first collection. We had no external funding or big team. Just the two of us—doing everything ourselves. We sourced fabrics, designed each piece, managed social media, handled customer service, and even packed every order with our own hands. Our home became our workspace, filled with samples, boxes, and notebooks full of ideas. It was challenging—but every time we saw someone wear our designs and love them, it made every sleepless night worth it.
